چکیده

Optical biosensors based on grating-coupled surface plasmon resonance (GCSPR) technology are an important research topic in the field of bio-photonics. This paper presents a high-performance and high-sensitivity nanostructured bimetallic GCSPR sensor two-dimensional materials. When designing sensor, sensitivity, full width at half peak (FWHM) dip strength absorption (DS) were considered comprehensively, comprehensive evaluation parameter FOM+ is defined by making improvements basis figure merit (FOM). The performance can be judged more comprehensively. was further improved optimizing structure sensor. An ultra-thin gold layer added silver-based which solves problem easy oxidation silver metal. We tried to coat graphene oxide nanomaterials sensitivity reached 350 deg/RIU 473.23, respectively. great improvement compared with previous study, it least 74.7%. measure variety biological molecules cells high detecting change refractive index solution measured.

Surface plasmon resonance hydrogen sensor based on metallic grating with high sensitivity.

High sensitivity is obtained at larger resonant incident angle if negative diffraction order of metallic grating is used to excite the surface plasmon. A highly sensitive grating-based surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor is designed for the hydrogen detection. A thin palladium (Pd) film deposited on the grating surface is used as transducer. The influences of grating period and the thickness...

Graphene-Based Long-Period Fiber Grating Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor for High-Sensitivity Gas Sensing

A graphene-based long-period fiber grating (LPFG) surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor is proposed. A monolayer of graphene is coated onto the Ag film surface of the LPFG SPR sensor, which increases the intensity of the evanescent field on the surface of the fiber and thereby enhances the interaction between the SPR wave and molecules. Such features significantly improve the sensitivity of th...

Resolution Enhancement in Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor Based on Waveguide Coupled Mode by Combining a Bimetallic Approach

In this study, we present and demonstrate a new route to a great enhancement in resolution of surface plasmon resonance sensors. Basically, our approach combines a waveguide coupled plasmonic mode and a kind of Au/Ag bimetallic enhancement concept. Theoretical modeling was carried out by solving Fresnel equations for the multilayer stack of prism/Ag inner-metal layer/dielectric waveguide/Au out...

Innovative Exploitation of Grating-Coupled Surface Plasmon Resonance for Sensing

Surface Plasmon Polaritons (SPPs) are confined solutions of Maxwell’s equations which propagate at the interface between a metal and a dielectric medium and have origin from the coupling of the electromagnetic field with electron-plasma density oscillations inside the metal [1]. SPPs are localized in the direction perpendicular to the interface: field intensity decays exponentially from the sur...
